1. Lesson plan 2 Yen Ho primary school Week 32 Date of Teaching : 26/4/2021 UNIT 19: IN THE LIVING ROOM Period 65 Lesson 3 I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Students will be able to: - Ask and answer the question: Who’s that ? That’s my brother - Write letter ‘th’ correctly and skillfully. - Fill in the blank correctly. - Sing the song beautifully. II. Teaching aids: teacher’s and student’s book, projector, CD, pictures III. Procedure Warm up: Ask students to sing: Family fingers A. Basic activities 5. Let’s talk: - T asks Ss look and give comments for the pictures. - Ss look at and say aloud the words in English. - T aks Ss to read aloud the sentence patterns: Who’s that? That’s my grandfather - T asks Ss to work in pair or group to practise the sentence patterns. Assessment: Go around and observe ( focus on pronuciation) 6. Look and write: - T asks Ss to observe and say what they have to do.

B. Practical activities: 7. Let’s sing - T asks Ss to look and say the content of picture - Teacher plays the song: + students listen + stop each sentence in the song and asks sing along + students sing in chorus - Divide class into three groups and song. Which group song are good, that group is the winner. Assesment: Observe and listen (focus on pronunciation, speed, performance, intonation, stress and melody of the song) C. Home link Let’s sing the song with your family. UNIT 20: AT THE DOCTOR’S Period : 66 Lesson 1 I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Students will be able to pronounce ‘th’ in these words: tooth, mouth, throat, thumb II. Teaching aids:

Listen, point and repeat -T sets the scenes. Ask Ss to look at the picture and describe. - Ss listen, point ‘i’ and repeat. ** Assessment: Go around and observe (focus on pronunciation) - Ss listen, point at each of picture (with new words) and repeat. Focus on the pronunciation of new words with ‘i’ ** Assessment: Observe if Ss can repeat correctly (focus on pronunciation) - Ss point at each picture and say the new words - Work in pairs or group: one S point and other say the new words ** Assessment: : Go around and observe if Ss can pronounce well (focus on pronuciation and stress) - T gives feedback. C. Application activities - Learn the new words and structure with your sister/ brother.
